World premier of "Beyond revenge" - 2 octobre, Berlin
Directed by Alvaro Orus, coproducer with Luz Jahnen, Beyond revenge (Mas alla de la venganza) clarifies the history of this social behavior since the institutionalization of the Code Hammurabi. It underlines the necessity of giving up this old answer which chains the human beings to the violence and to the permanent resentment, set up as value and justified by a morality.
Several testimonies of people show us a path to go out of this vicious circle, telling the way they took themselves - in front of the camera - to calm and integrate the damages that they underwent.
This new revolutionary attitude is opening news doors for a profond social and cultural change.

"After the historical frame, the knot concentrates all the dramatic experiences. We tried to present diverse cases and one consequence of that is that nearly all of us found an interview subject with whom we could identify one way or another. As we became identified, it put us in the presence of our own experiences and so we accompanied the subjects on their path until they found ways out and converted the situation. In so doing, although we dealt with sometimes very hard issues, the general tone, and especially at the end, is light and hopeful".
